Chamber Space is Venue of Choice For Business Leaders

Over the past few weeks, Chamber Space has hosted leading figures from the worlds of business and politics.

BURN - The Black United Representation Network - has run several training events in partnership with Greater Manchester Chamber. The most recent explored the viability of SMEs procuring large supply chain contracts in the public sector, including the HS2 project.

A spokesperson for Burn said: "The rooms, facilities and the team at the Chamber is first class, always a pleasure to work with.”

BURN is the North’s leading, and award-winning, workplace and supply chain race equity specialist, founded in February 2020. BURN exists to challenge and tackle the specific persistent, and systemic, racial inequalities which negatively impact people from the Black community. BURN works with large organisations to create workplace and supply chain diversity opportunities for individuals and SMEs who are part of our membership.

The day after BURN's event, David Edmundson-Bird, Principal Lecturer in Digital Marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University, delivered his ‘Steps To Smash Your Marketing Strategy’ workshop (pictured) to business leaders from Greater Manchester and across the North West.

After the event, one of the MMU attendees commented: “The event was very well organised, great facilities and a very supportive Chamber team to make sure the event went as planned. Both we as venue organisers and the businesses in attendance were well looked after. We’re pleased to be partnering with the Chamber as they can support us to get our events to their membership base.”

Early in November, we were proud to be chosen to host Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, and Councillor Bev Craig, Leader of Manchester City Council, for a business roundtable event with Manchester Airport.

Lea-Anne Gardner, Membership Events & Commercial Manager at Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, said: “We’re delighted to have hosted so many high-profile events recently. Our reputation as a meetings venue means we are trusted by a wide range of organisations to hold their events. Whatever your needs, Chamber Space can provide you with a unique city centre location that is second to none.”

Chamber Space offers a suite of 16 vibrant, flexible and dynamic spaces. Home to Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, the beautiful grade II-listed building can host business events, social events and even weddings. Our outstanding customer service team are on-hand to help you from planning your event, right through to delivery. The space is also home to the ‘Ghislaine Howard Collection’ - an exhibition of inspiring paintings throughout the whole building - open to the public on the last Friday each month.
