You may be aware that Chamber Space is a part of Greater Manchester Chamber, the leading independent, business representation body in Greater Manchester. As a not-for-profit organisation that is owned by our members, our core mission is to support businesses, influence policy and promote economic growth across Greater Manchester.

On 06/08/2025, Greater Manchester Chamber filed a Notice of Intention to appoint administrators. In 2017, we introduced the Chamber Space service with the vision of becoming a major centre for business in Greater Manchester. Shortly before the pandemic, we expanded the venue, opening a new conference suite in response to rising demand. The pandemic, and the aftermath have created sustained financial pressures. The lasting changes in working patterns, a fall in demand, and rising operating costs have made Chamber Space an unsustainable part of the business.
 
Filing a Notice of Intention was a step which allows us to attempt to safeguard the core business, but regrettably means that Chamber Space has closed with immediate effect.

It’s important to us that we face this change with integrity and care, the Chamber exists to support the Greater Manchester business community, and these difficult decisions must be taken in order to protect the future of the Chamber, for the members and for the region.
